Theatre of the Unaligned
Your Table Artist!

Hello! My name is Jay, I'm your table artist, and it's lovely to see you again. If you're checking out this page, then you probably haven't had the introduction. I'm one of the founding members of the D&D content creation group Theatre of the Unaligned, where I act, draw, edit, and play! While acting & comedy are major passions, paints and pen ink basically run through my veins like blood. I've been drawing since I could pick up a crayon! My expertise is in drawing expressive people, and I love drawing people in motion. Bright, neon colors, harsh shadows and electric vibes are my go-to.If you'd like to support me, the best way to do so is to donate to the Theatre of the Unaligned Patreon or by watching our live plays or shorts content! You can also donate directly to my Ko-fi if you'd like, but don't feel obligated to do so!

GENERAL RULES
- I have the right to reject a request if I deem it outside of my abilities or if the subject matter isn't something I am comfortable with portraying.
- If you request major changes late into the commission process, I have the right to charge additional service fees. You'll get a fee quote BEFORE I apply changes. No surprises!
- You cannot sell your commissioned piece unless we work out a commercial license (which would incur additional fees).
- You cannot trace or claim the commissioned piece as your own. If you post it, you gotta link back to me.
- Do not erase the signatures on the piece. That's cringe behavior.
- I can't accept work that has a hard deadline due to my process. It's a pain in the ass, I know, but I simply cannot do it!
- Let's be kind and patient with one another! Zero tolerance on harassment, both ways.
PROCESS
When you commission me and get accepted, here's how it'll go:
1. You give me a description of the piece including the type it is. You'll provide me with references as needed. The less specific you are, the more artistic liberties I'll take.
2. I'll give you a quote based on that request to approve. I will charge a 10% non-refundable deposit of the full quote, wherein the remaining total will be charged after the product is completed.
3. Once the sketch is done, I'll send you a scaled-down watermarked version for you to approve. This is the stage you can ask for major changes without incurring additional fees!
4. Once the sketch is approved, I'll send you a scaled-down watermarked draft of the line art after I finish it. Any MAJOR changes from here on might incur additional fees, but I'll tell you what they are BEFORE I make changes so you can approve them.
5. This process with continue for the coloring and then the compositing/shading stages if those are needed.
6. Once the final draft is approved, I will send you a PayPal invoice that includes the initial quote + any additional fees incurred.
7. Once the invoice has been paid and processed, I will send you the final piece.
8. Finally, you will be asked if I can post your commission on my socials with or without saying who the commission is for. You are permitted to refuse to have your commission piece posted!
THAT'S ALL, easy peasy.
